Idly, Claudia can't help but think of Louis. He had so many compunctions about killing people, focusing solely on rats and cats instead, sustaining himself through animals. Even now, with all her years of experience, Claudia never understood that. Why would he limit himself in that way? Why would he deny what he is? She can't help but wonder what she would think of an arrangement like what Root might be suggesting, where he turns what he is against those who are undeserving.
